As promised, and actual update with words, instead of just adorable pictures.
We just got home from the 2 year check up (no shots this time, that was a relief after the fit he threw when the nurse was trying to measure him) and I am telling you, this kid is going to be like 7 feet tall by the time he's done growing! He was 36 1/4 inches tall, in the 95th percentile, he's never dropped below the 90th percentile for height, his growth has been very steady along his curve. His weight is 27 pounds even, still in the 50th (well a little below) percentile. Tall and skinny, except right after he eats, when his little belly juts out over his pants, it's too cute. He spends all his time while he's awake, running around and dancing, so there's just no way for any weight to stick on him. He's pretty much set for clothes, so he probably doesn't need anything else unless you see something you absolutely can't resist buying, in that case, 2T/3T is good for tshirts, longer is better, because they tend to shrink up and his little belly pokes out. As for pants his is in 2Ts. PJ's I have moved him up to 3T's even though they are a little big, because his 2T's were just getting too snug.
He's saying a lot more now than he used to, within the past week or two he has started saying "eyes" and knows what they are, the same with "hands", over the weekend he just started saying "baby" usually accompanied with a "no", like he is saying he's not a baby anymore, it's cute. He also likes to run around and say "bam bam bam". And now he finally says "mooo" when you ask him what a cow says, rather than "woofwoof". For a while there everything said woof woof. The cutest thing to me though is whenever he sees a bunny or you say the word bunny, he moves his hand up and down and says "hop hop hop". So so so cute, I will have to get a video of it. Speaking of videos, you will have to wait for those until after Michael and I get back from the Keys, sorry, there's just too much to do this week, and I've only got 2 more days to do it! Let's see, back to cute stuff Q says. Oh, he's very polite, anytime you give him something, he always says "thanks" and then waits for you to say your welcome. Though that's the only manners he has, he still likes to throw him plate of food on the floor. So that's not all he says, but I don't see any reason to list all the words I think he has said, so those are the cutest. Oh! And ice cream, he loves ice cream (though he rarely has it), if he sees a picture or you say ice cream he makes this slurping/licking sound and motion like he is eating ice cream, it's cute, but also kind of gross, haha.
He's still a picky eater, but loves him some cheese. Won't eat anything green for any reason, occasionally they may make it into his mouth, but they don't say in there for very long. He likes fruit a lot, so that's good, he will snack on an apple, just as well as he would a cookie, and that makes mommy happy.
He is a TV addict, he gets very mad if you won't turn the TV on for him, but it's not just any show, he wants to watch Blue's Clues, all the time, and if the TV is on and it's not Blue's Clues, he's going through a fit. It's really quite ridiculous that a little blue dog can cause such a fuss.
Well, I am starting to run out of things to talk about, my brain is drawing a blank. So I hope this is enough to satisfy all inquiring minds. If there's anything anyone wants to know about the little booger just ask. I hope you all are well.
